In the context of using our registration (user login) as well as the use of the customer account, we also store the following data:

  • Your IP address
  • Time of respective user action
  • E-mail address
  • Password
  • Your order history
  • Your watchlist

The data entered there will be processed exclusively for the indicated purposes. The legal basis for the processing is the contract initiation and contract execution according to Art. 6 para. 1b) or the balancing of interests according to Art. 6 para. 1f). Our legitimate interest lies in effective and targeted communication with our interested parties.

To be able to place orders via our online shop, each customer must set up a password-protected customer account and go through the registration process as described. The customer account contains, among other things, an overview of orders placed and active order processes. If you leave the online shop, you will be logged out automatically.

The data collected in this way will be stored until you effectively object to this storage, request us to delete it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal storage obligations remain unaffected.

For the display of our products, we offer registered users the possibility to display the products in a 3D representation via a 3D configurator. To use the configurator, the provider of the configurator (Cadenas) sets a cookie. If you wish the display in 3D and have not already given your consent for the cookie when accessing the page, you can additionally give your consent for the service via a 2-click solution (below the display). The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1a) DSGVO. The service provider receives your IP address in the process, no other personal data is processed, the legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1f) DSGVO. Our legitimate interest is to present our products in a professional and customer-friendly manner.

Recipients and data transmission

We have bundled certain data processing operations in our company. These can be handled centrally by our individual company departments, for example to process inquiries. External contractors and service providers (e.g. logistics companies or IT service providers) can also be used to ensure our tasks and to fulfill the contract. In addition, data may be sent to recipients to whom we are obliged or authorized to pass on due to contractual or legal obligations or based on your consent.

Data transfer to third countries

A data transfer to third countries (countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area EEA) only takes place insofar as this is necessary for the execution of a contract / order / the business relationship including the initiation or due to our legitimate interest or is permissible on the basis of your consent and only in compliance with the data protection requirements stipulated for this.

Note on data transfer to the USA

Services from companies based in the USA are integrated into our website. As part of the use of these services, personal data can be transmitted to the US server of the respective service provider. We would like to point out that the USA is not a safe third country within the meaning of EU data protection law. US companies are obliged to surrender personal data to security authorities without you as the person concerned being able to take sufficient legal action against this. It can therefore not be completely ruled out that US authorities (e.g. secret services) process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence on these processing activities.

Deletion of your data

We only process your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the respective use or until there is no longer a legal basis for processing (e.g. revocation of consent to data processing). We observe the existing legal retention and storage periods.

Your rights

You have the right:

  • to receive information about the personal data we have stored about you free of charge (right to information)
  • to request confirmation as to whether we are processing personal data relating to you (right to confirmation)
  • to demand that we delete the personal data concerning you immediately, provided that their processing is no longer necessary and the further requirements of the GDPR for deletion are met (right to deletion)
  • to request the immediate correction and completion of incorrect personal data concerning you (right to correction)
  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data (right to restriction of processing)
  • to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, common and machine-readable format (right to data portability)
  • to object to the processing of your personal data (right to object)
  • You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing – including profiling – which has legal effects on you or which significantly affects you in a similar manner (right to a decision in individual cases).
  • to revoke your consent to the processing of your personal data with effect for the future at any time.
  • to complain to the supervisory authority responsible for data protection if you are of the opinion that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR (right of appeal).

In order to ensure that our data protection declaration always complies with the current legal requirements, we reserve the right to make changes at any time.
